ELSIE DASHANNON LOVIN
I love...
I love reading and reviewing books. All kinds.
I love to help people make a plan for the future: a career, the military, or college and help make a plan to get there.
I love research. I love the process of picking a topic, exploring a topic, and then writing about a topic.
I love learning and igniting that love in others. I love conversation and thinking.
I love praying and meditating and a good sun salutation.
I love the creative process- lettering, scrapbooking, making cards, and writing.
I love writing, reflecting, dissecting, wondering.
I love building websites and creating a social media presence.
I love good food and drink.
I love social media and sharing what is amazing me today or making me reflect.
I love coffee and tea and the whole process and ritual of making it.
I love gathering with old friends and new and old students and more recent ones.
I love watching movies old and new, and series from start to finish.
I love spending time with my family- my husband, my grown son, my sister, my parents.
I have often said in my next life I’m going to work from home so my dogs can lay on my feet all day. I love walking with my dogs.
I love living on the lake, taking my SUP and kayak out for a float.
I love browsing shelves in book stores and libraries.
I visit local coffee shops.
I love discovering new music.
I love to read non-fiction, modern fiction, classics, articles, blog posts.
I love to research and start discussions on what I’m reading.
I love to listen to podcasts, Master Classes, and Youtube.
I love public television-PBS and public radio- NPR.
I love to plan and journal and blog.
I love reading obituaries especially when someone has something to say about the deceased.
I love keeping up with The Home Edit.
I love Hallmark Movies and Mysteries.
I love Britbox and Netflix.
I love spending time on my back porch reading, writing, and relaxing with my dogs.
I love thrifting.
I love decorating my house and library.
